engine code: CDAA+CCZA+CDLA+CFFB+GFGB  The upgrade intercooler is installed in the front between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is simply replaced 1:1 with the original one. The aim of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber with the same volume and more fuel can be burnt, thus increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, because it requires less speed for the same air mass. The fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine receives somewhat better exhaust values, provided that the control unit is adapted to this. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used with turbocharged diesel and petrol engines. The intercooler offered here is completely made of aluminium with cast boxes and has a bar'n plate net, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested to 5 bar before delivery.
