If a silencer is cancelled by the installation of a tuning catalyst, the noise behaviour is to be revalued within the scope of a company permission for the vehicle according to §21 of the German StVZO regulation.
HJS offers a comprehensive range of approved tuning downpipes. The vehicle-specific stainless steel catalysts can be combined with standard-production and tuning exhaust systems from many different manufacturers.
HJS’s 200/300 cpsi tuning catalysts optimise the car’s performance while significantly improving the sound. Registration in the vehicle papers is not necessary.

ECE downpipes
HJS bietet ein umfangreiches Programm von Tuning Downpipes an, die nach der UN ECE-Regelung Nr. 103 geprüft sind. Diese Regelung beschreibt einheitliche Bedingungen für die Genehmigung von Kraftfahrzeug-Austauschkatalysatoren und hat Gültigkeit in allen Ländern, die der Wirtschaftskommission der Vereinten Nationen für Europa beigetreten sind. Deutschland ist Mitgliedstaat dieses Abkommens (E1).
Unsere ECE Tuning Downpipe darf als Austauschteil zum Serienkatalysator verwendet werden, sofern der vorliegende Fahrzeugtyp im Verwendungsbereich der Katalysatorgenehmigung aufgeführt ist. Eine Änderungsabnahme oder Korrektur der Fahrzeugpapiere ist nicht notwendig. Voraussetzung ist jedoch, dass sich der Fahrzeugantriebstrang (Motor, Getriebe, Motorsteuergerät, usw.) im serienmäßigen Zustand befindet.
