Some information on our camshaft program.

For a easy select, we chose four different camshaft categories. The categories show our recommendation for the application area of the car.

Road : This cam type is designed to installed into a standard produktion road car. No other modifications are necessery.

Sport : This cam type is designed for the sporty driver. We recommend the use of a ajusted chip.

Rallye : This cam type is designed for rally or slalom competition cars. We recommend the use of twin carburators or multi throttle injection systems with this cam type.

Oval track :This cam type is designed for long-time-race-, hill-climbing- and dragster- competition cars.

Note for camshafts characteristics

1. Cam lift can be calculated by deducting the base circle diameter from the overall lobe height. It is not possible to see where the ramps start and finish. If accurate results are to be achieved the cam lift must be measured between
centers using a dial indicator gauge. When using this method the cam must be checked to ensure that it is not bent, that there is no
run-out in the centers.

2. It is difficult to understand that by grinding a lobe smaller, more lift can be achieved. As you will see at fig.2 by reducing the base circle diameter and after clearance, the cam follower sits closer to the center line of the shaft. Now by deducting the base circle diameter from the overall lobe height, the lift is bigger.

3.Spread angle is the angle between over lap TDC and maximum lift of the valves.

4. Valve lift at TDC or overlap valve lift means the lift they make the valves when the piston are at TDC.

5. The valve timing is the infor- mation in degrees of crank angle when intake and exhaust valve open and close
